Join us every Friday at 5 PM for a guided walking tour through the heart of Lucca, led by a passionate local expert who brings the city’s rich history to life. Starting from Piazzale Verdi, we’ll make our way into the historical center, stopping at Piazza San Michele, the lively Via Fillungo, and the iconic Piazza Anfiteatro, built atop ancient Roman ruins.
Along the way, you’ll hear stories of Lucca’s transformation through the centuries, from medieval stronghold to elegant Renaissance town. Discover the legacy of Giacomo Puccini, admire the intricate facade of San Martino Cathedral, and trace the mysterious labyrinth carved into its outer wall.
We’ll finish with a walk on Lucca’s famous Renaissance city walls, offering a peaceful perspective on the town below.
