There’s no better way to experience Tuscany than at your own rhythm. Our Trekking Bike Self Tour is perfect for skilled and physically prepared riders looking to dive deep into the region’s landscapes under their own power.
Included with every trekking bike rental, the adventure begins from our garage just outside Lucca’s old town. You’ll follow our tailored Google Maps route through the Renaissance Walls, across historic squares like Piazza Anfiteatro, and then along the car-free Serchio River cycling path—a peaceful green corridor away from traffic.
Along the way, stop for lunch in Marlia at a local trattoria, and explore the nearby Lucchese Villas, such as Villa Reale or Villa Torrigiani, if you wish to add a cultural touch to your ride.
Please note: Trekking bikes are recommended only for riders who are skilled and physically prepared.
Your rental includes the bike, helmet, lock, and custom digital route.

Stop 1
Renaissance Walls
Start your ride with a loop along Lucca’s famous Renaissance walls—an elevated park offering stunning views over the rooftops and gardens of the city. Peaceful, scenic, and surrounded by history, it’s the perfect way to ease into your journey.
Stop 2
Piazza Anfiteatro
Pedal into one of Lucca’s most iconic squares, built on the ruins of a Roman amphitheater. Its unique oval shape and lively atmosphere make it a perfect spot for a coffee break—or simply to soak up the vibrant local life.
Stop 3 (pass by)
Via Fillungo
Cycle down Lucca’s main shopping street, where history and modern life meet. Elegant boutiques, historic storefronts, and lively cafés line the road, offering a glimpse into the daily rhythm of the city.

Parco Fluviale (Serchio River Path)
Leave the city behind and follow the calm, green Serchio River cycling path. This peaceful, car-free route runs alongside the water, offering refreshing breezes and panoramic countryside views—a true escape into nature.

The discounted price is €70.00 per Bike (regular price €90.00).
How does the booking process work?
To confirm your booking, we require a 30% non-refundable deposit if the rental amount exceeds €300. The balance must be paid 15 days before your rental. For bookings under €300, full payment is required at the time of reservation.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations made within 15 days of the rental date are non-refundable.
What’s included in the rental price?

Is there anything I should bring?
